Job Details/Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Participating in provision of fisheries extension services;
  • Collecting fisheries statistical data;
  • Maintaining fish farms and hatcheries; and
  • Assisting in ensuring hygienic fish landing sites, market,s and farms


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Have a Certificate in a course lasting not less than two (2) years in either Fisheries Management, Natural Resource Management or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Be proficient in computer application skills.


Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:

  • Kenya Revenue Authority
  • Higher Education Loans Board
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
  • Criminal Investigation Department
  • Credit Reference Bureau
